Chili pot with chocolate

We need to share this recipe of a really rich and tasty chili! The meat is so tender that it’s just melting in your mouth and the flavors are amazing.

As usual we use our Schlemmertopf and put all the ingredients in there without browning them first, to minimize the Maillard reaction.

Paleo chili recipe

  • 1 kg chuck steak
  • 3 onions
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp cacao
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 5 cloves
  • 5 dl bone broth
  • 1 dl apple cider vinegar
  • 50 g dark chocolate
  • Salt & pepper
Amazingly marbled chuck steak. Organic and grass fed ofc.

Put all the ingredients, except the chocolate, into the pot and leave in the oven at 150-200 °C until the meat is perfectly tender.

Serve the chili on top of a cabbage leaf.

Serve with stir fried veggies, feta cheese and kombucha! Or whatever you want!
