Having some left over minced meat in the fridge, meaning it´s time to do a minced meat ragout! The ingredients used are what was available in the fridge and pantry. So please use the recipe as inspiration but use whatever you have at home!
Simple minced meat ragout
- Minced meat of hen, pig and cow
- Crushed tomatoes
- Bone broth
- Apple cider vinegar
- Turmeric, Chili powder, Ginger, Basil, salt & pepper
Carefully brown the minced meat in a large saucepan with coconut oil. Chop and add the onions, the tomatoes, bone broth and apple cider vinegar to taste. Chop and add the veggies as well as the seasoning and bring the sauce to boiling and cook until the veggies are soft.
Serve the sauce with some steamed cabbage and a click of butter on top.
